MEET A NAPCONIAN: KRISTIAN BERGMAN ON THE PROJECT AND SERVICE EXECUTION TEAM.

Hi Kristian, How did you get a job at NAPCON?
I joined NAPCON about a year ago as a Project Manager for the Project and Service Execution Team. Our team’s goal is to ensure high quality customer projects execution. I found this open position from a recruitment agency online pages and got immediately interested. After a discussion with the recruitment agent I had a video call with my current supervisor followed by a couple of physical interviews and finally got selected for the position. I find that the recruitment process was smooth and was left with a feeling of making the right choice.
Why NAPCON?
NAPCON was quite unfamiliar to me as a business unit within Neste Engineering Solutions (NES). However, I knew NES well from my studies at Aalto University, and the company had a high reputation as an employer. After making some background studies regarding NAPCON, I realized that I have several competencies to offer for the company. I was also thrilled by the opportunity to work in a company that is focusing on the digitalization of the process industries. I feel enthusiastic about managing projects that we are implementing currently for Neste and other customers. Neste is considered as one the forerunners in sustainability and innovation and I feel great to be part of it!
What makes you curious?
I am curious about all new technological innovations concerning virtual reality and machine learning. I am really looking forward to seeing that giant leap process industries will take during the next decades taking machine learning in use when optimizing production processes. NAPCON will play a big role here and how cool is that.
